Headquartered in Brisbane, we are a dynamic business with projects across Australia and New Zealand.Position Overview:As a Quantity Surveyor, you will review client documentation, quantify construction activities, and prepare detailed cost estimates and schedules for renewable energy projects. You'll contribute to project planning, support procurement, and assist with commercial claims to ensure profitability. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to grow professionally in a collaborative team, working on diverse projects with repeat clients.Key Responsibilities:Review and evaluate client documentation to develop a thorough understanding of project requirements.Measure and quantify construction activities from drawings and specifications to inform cost estimates and schedules.Develop sound construction methodologies to ensure accurate cost estimates and schedules.Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for renewable energy projects.Produce schedules of work to define the construction period and assist with project planning.Provide input into the development of estimating and benchmarking systems to ensure continuous improvement.Assist with procurement of subcontractors and materials to ensure timely project delivery.Assist with commercial claims including variations, delays, and EOT's to ensure project profitability.Required Skills & Experience:1-2 years' experience in estimating.Some experience in Civil and or Electrical related fields is desirable.You will ideally have tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or some relevant work experience.Knowledge of CAD software is desirable.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Keen attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.Strong organisational and time management skills.We are an equal-opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone is valued.
