Our objective is to be renowned for superior quality, craftsmanship, and unbeatable value, while making the process of buying and building a home easy.We are seeking expressions of interest from a Full Time Quantity Surveyor for an opportunity across our business.The RolePreparation of cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs) and tender documents.Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best prices and terms.Managing project budgets, including forecasting and monitoring costs.Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all project-related costs and financial transactions.Provide expert advice on procurement, risk management and cost-saving measures.In consultation with project manager/engineer, organizing and directing site labor and the delivery and construction material, plant and equipment, and establishing detailed programs for the coordination of site activities.Preparation of specifications and scope of work.Liaison with clients, authorities and sub-consultants.Assisting project managers/engineers for timely delivery of projects.The CandidateBe degree qualified, Bachelor's Degree – Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.2+ years experience in similar capacity.Be a team player able to work with and influence a wide range of stakeholders both inside and outside of the organization.Be comfortable working on a variety of tasks in a sometimes fast-paced operational environment.Develop sufficient knowledge of the processes within operational delivery to be able to propose change and improvements.Team worker - willing to get involved, supporting colleagues to resolve issues and facilitating solutions.Have a strong work ethic and positive work attitude.MILANOE CONSTRUCTIONS PTY LTD values its employees & in return will offer you:A competitive salary package based on experience.Career development & training opportunities.A supportive workplace with a dynamic & fun culture.To apply for this role please e-mail your CV in word or pdf format marked Quantity Surveyor.Summary of role requirements:Flexible hours available.1 year of relevant work experience required for this role.Working rights required for this role.Expected start date for role: 15 December 2024.Expected salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year.
