Every day we help our clients deliver ambitious and highly technical projects in over 118 offices and 47 countries worldwide.Due to significant growth and ongoing delivery success with our clients, Turner & Townsend's Canberra team is looking for a Cost Manager to work across a variety of different projects from infrastructure, Defence, Real Estate and many more.Job DescriptionTurner & Townsend will give you the opportunity to work with world class clients on cutting edge projects and to build a successful career with a company that will offer the highest levels of support at every stage.In a Cost Manager role, you will have knowledge in:Develop cost estimates from drawings and specifications.Manage contracts across the lifecycle of the project.Conduct estimate assurance reviews and associate report writing.Leading the Cost Management team across a variety of different projects in Real Estate, Defence and Infrastructure.Displaying excellence in service delivery leadership.QualificationsMinimum 1 year plus industry experienceAustralian Citizenship and ability to gain defence clearance.A recognised Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Engineering or similar.Infrastructure experience prerequisite, especially with aviation or utilities.Ability to produce resource-based estimates, top down cost plans or parametric cost models.Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills.Demonstrable reputation for challenge, innovation and continued improvement.Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your clients.Additional InformationTurner & Townsend is an equal opportunity employer.
