Our dynamic teams are looking for Quantity Surveyors or Senior Quantity Surveyors for our Brisbane and Gold Coast offices.
Qualified Quantity Surveyor (2+ years exp)Senior Quantity Surveyor (6+ years exp)To be successful in this role, the candidate must have excellent working knowledge of CostX, have solid experience in quantity surveying and/or related services and be willing to take on projects from commencement to completion. You will be required to undertake the duties of a Quantity Surveyor including:
Undertaking detailed measurement and pricingPrepare preliminary and detailed estimatesAnalyse estimate components and advise clients on cost alternatives or design solutionsWorking as a part of a team to achieve project outcomesBuilding client and stakeholder relationshipsUndertaking site inspectionsPreparing Reports and Progress Claims and undertaking assessmentsQualities and experience: Attention to detail and methodical approach to workRelevant Tertiary QualificationsProficient with CostX and construction methodologiesSolid understanding of Life Cycle Cost Analysis and the tender processAIQS or RICS membership preferredMUST have a minimum of 2 years post graduate experience in the Australian marketSuccessful, enthusiastic, keen to succeedExcellent telephone and communication skillsExcellent computer skills and knowledge of electronic measurement systemsThis role is best suited for someone who enjoys working on a variety of projects and is looking to advance their career.
