Job Description:
What is the role?
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantitative Analyst with a passion for property to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and experience producing actionable insights and developing machine learning models in real estate analytics. This role will be pivotal in driving the development and enhancement of our analytics products and solutions, providing critical insights to support strategic decision-making within the company.
What will you be doing?
Data analysis and modelling:
Design, develop and implement methods to analyse real estate data and market trends.
Utilise statistical and machine learning techniques to develop and continuously develop existing analytics products.
Product, research and insights:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data and machine learning engineers, product managers and the research team, to identify opportunities for leveraging analytics in decision-making and business operations.
Conduct in-depth research on property market trends and economic indicators to inform model development and product enhancements.
Stay current with industry advancements, emerging technologies and best practices in quantitative analysis, machine learning and GenerativeAI.
Present research findings, model output and product updates to senior management and clients, effectively communicating complex concepts clearly and concisely.
Job Qualifications:
Are you the right fit ?
To be successful in this role the key competencies required include:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related discipline.
3+ years experience in a quantitative analysis role, proven track record of producing actionable insights to inform business decision-making.
Previous experience in spatial analytics, including working with geographic information systems (GIS) and spatial data analysis techniques.
Proficiency in programming R. Additional experience with Python is a bonus.
Previous experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure, including cloud-based data storage, processing and model deployment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
