Are you passionate about quality and committed to providing essential services to South Australians?
Our client is seeking Quality Control Officers to join their operations team on a 12 month casual contract. This government client is a leading provider of water quality and maintenance services in South Australia who require dedicated individuals to ensure the highest standards of quality across our critical operations.
Key responsibilities:
You'll be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing this government agency's quality and information management systems across all operational work groups, including Environmental, WHS, and Operations. This role is crucial in driving continuous improvement in business practices and ensuring effective compliance risk management in the delivery of exceptional services to our customers.
Maintain expertise in the administration of the corporate information management system to enable effective efficiency across operations.
Actively participate in a safety-focussed work environment, applying roles and responsibilities in accordance with WHS Roles and Responsibilities Procedure.
Coordinate quality system document reviews to support effective management of operational risks and compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
Support continuous improvement via participation in management system audits.

Requirements:
Applicants for these positions will require -
Sound knowledge of quality management principles, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, including application in safety, water quality, environment and business operational functions.
Knowledge in SharePoint and MS Office suite essential
Strong knowledge and application of document control and management practices, including a high level of PC literacy and experience in the use of information and data management platforms
Experience in the delivery and management of audits to support continuous improvement.
Full driver license (Australian).
Successful applicants will be required to undergo a traffic check and hold a national police check issued within the last 6 months.

Please note:
Contracts are part-time with flexibility on which days as long as they are continuous (Mon-Wed/ Wed- Fri or Tues-Thurs).
Officers may be required to travel fortnightly for work (2-3 days)
