Title: Quality Support Facilitator/Trainer and AssessorLocation: SydneyLength: PermanentSalary: $100k to $117k
The Quality Support Facilitator will focus on developing and delivering culturally safe, tailored professional learning and support to children's education and care services. The role aims to enhance each service's capacity to meet or exceed the National Quality Standard (NQS) and align with the Children's Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations. Collaborating closely with QSP Managers, the facilitator will design culturally safe practices, resources, and materials, while also mentoring peers to deepen their understanding of these practices.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct professional learning and support to NSW children's education and care services through goal setting, coaching, workshops, and webinars to help them meet or exceed NQS and regulatory standards.Build and maintain collaborative, culturally safe relationships with services to support quality improvement goals, increase engagement, and achieve program outcomes.Work closely with the Quality and Compliance Projects and LQRS Teams to meet program objectives.Co-develop and deliver engaging, culturally relevant learning materials for webinars, workshops, communities of practice, and other activities.Ensure program documentation is accurately managed according to organisational policies, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.Prepare reports, briefs, and respond promptly to requests for information.Assist with the coordination of travel, meetings, service visits, and events across NSW, as required by the project schedule.Uphold organisational policies, procedures, and values while contributing to an inclusive, high-performance culture.Key Selection CriteriaAboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage (as per the Racial Discrimination Act 1975).Demonstrated experience in delivering culturally safe professional learning and support, particularly within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander education and care services.In-depth knowledge of children's education and care, with experience working in regional and remote Indigenous communities and embedding quality improvement aligned with NQS standards.Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop culturally safe resources and deliver effective presentations.Proven ability to build collaborative and productive relationships with stakeholders and negotiate to support program goals.Proficiency with a range of technologies and the ability to adapt to new systems efficiently.Mandatory RequirementsTertiary qualifications in education, children's care, or adult learning, or equivalent industry experience.Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and Blue Card (if not already held).Full driver's licence and willingness to travel frequently, including to regional and remote locations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
