The RoleThe Quality Uplift Program is a partnership between ACECQA and the Government of South Australia, Office of Early Childhood Development (OECD).
The Quality Support Facilitator, Quality Uplift Program provides tailored professional learning and support to South Australian education and care services.
This role is full time and fixed term (until July 2026) at ACECQA Band 5 ($96,766-$117,912).
About YouTo be successful in this role you will need:
Demonstrated contemporary knowledge and experience in delivering professional learning and support through a variety of approaches within the children's education and care sector.Strong knowledge of and experience in the delivery of children's education and care, the NQF and the Early Years Learning Framework, including identifying and embedding quality improvement.Demonstrated knowledge of cultural responsiveness and in creating a culturally safe and inclusive environment.Developed analytical, interpersonal and high-level written and verbal communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to research, analyse and interpret information and communicate succinctly across a diverse range of audiences (including the development and delivery of presentations, resources and/or online learning).Proven ability to develop and nurture collaborative, positive and productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and negotiate with confidence to support program and organisation outcomes.While not essential, the following attributes will greatly assist you in the role:
Experience working with metro, regional and remote services and with multiple service types in the South Australian context including early childhood, preschools, kindergartens, family day care, outside school hours care and services out of scope of the NQF.Qualifications, training and/or experience in mentoring/coaching practices.The key duties of the position include:Key Accountabilities Utilise professional learning and support approaches, including coaching techniques, to support children's education and care services to build on their capability to meet or exceed the NQS and their ability to deliver quality educational programs and practices.Build and nurture collaborative, effective and genuine working relationships with identified services and internal and external stakeholders to achieve program outcomes and organisation success.In collaboration with the Manager, Quality Uplift Program utilise the Australian Government's Style Manual and ACECQA's tone to develop interactive, engaging, and relevant professional learning materials for webinars, communities of practice, workshops, resources, communications, meetings and other activities as needed.Ensure program-related documentation is developed, accurate, managed and appropriately stored and complies with all ACECQA policies, procedures and stakeholder expectations.Prepare briefs, reports and advice, and respond to regular and urgent requests for information and updates as required.Conduct, deliver and assist with organising travel, service visits, meetings, conferences, webinars and/or events located as required by the Quality Uplift Program project schedules.Adhere to the spirit and practice of ACECQA's Code of Conduct, demonstrate behaviours that support the building of an inclusive, culturally safe and agile performance culture and act ethically and professionally in line with ACECQA's values of Integrity, Commitment, Respect and Collaboration.Other duties as required.Mandatory Requirements Tertiary qualifications in children's education and care, education and/or adult learning or an equivalent level of industry experience.Hold a South Australian Working with Children Check or have the ability to obtain before employment.Have convenient access to Adelaide Airport, undertake frequent travel including metro, regional and remote locations, overnight stays and hold a full driver's licence.
This includes some travel to the ACECQA Sydney based office.
