You will work closely with the operational team to lead and mentor the sites quality control inspectors.
Responsibilities includeAssisting the Quality Manager to lead the site Product Pride Program within operationsManage verification scheduled in line with HACCP and Quality Manual requirementsCollate and review quality testing results and ensuring effective corrective actions and preventative measures are implemented in a timely fashion Verifying that products are manufactured according to quality specificationsIdentifying and escalating food safety, and quality issuesInvestigating and responding to customer complaints and non-conformances Providing coaching and training to Quality and Processing employees to ensure an accurate understanding of, and adherence to food safety & quality standards and ensure compliance with Ingham's Minimum Standard ProceduresConducting new product and process trials as requiredContributing positively to the team environment, fostering open communication and actively seeking feedback Being self-accountable for achieving expected outcomes, delivering on individual and team goalsParticipating in development opportunities, coaching conversations and take responsibility for your own growth Following the safety rules; Identify hazards and risks and escalate as needed Assisting the Quality Manager with the internal and external auditing programs Partnering with Operations to ensure compliance and drive improvement programsEffective communication with Site Operations Leadership TeamPreparing QA weekly reportsWe're interested in people who can bring: Experience in implementing Quality Assurance programs in a food processing environmentA good understanding of food production including food safety, pathogen control and quality assurance monitoringThe proven ability to work effectively within a team environment The ability to influence othersStrong knowledge in the area of food science and quality managementStrong data analytics, attention to detail and information processing skills We're looking for people who are curious, caring, courageous and committed to join us.
