A day in the life… Reporting to the Lab & Compliance Manager, key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Plan & conduct Nestle vendor auditsPrepare audit reports, raise nonconformities, take approve/disapprove decision, follow-up & closure of non-conformitiesRaising of Quality notifications (QP) to defective raw materials & follow-up corrective actions until closure of the QPContaminant monitoring of new raw materials/new samplesSAP work related to raw material & vendor set-up & maintenanceLead vendor improvement projects ex: foreign body reduction projectsBecome the subject matter expert for the quality & food safety aspects of raw materialsWhat Will Make You Successful Joining a collaborative team of specialists, you will be a strong team player with a drive to deliver quality outcomes.Previous experience in conducting vendor audits - preferredLead Auditor or internal auditor trainingStrong computer skills with primary focus on Excel, Word, Outlook and SAP.Be able to liaise with vendors & internal stakeholdersAttention to detail and strong communication skillsWillingness to travel.
This role requires travelling to vendor sites within Australia & infrequently to New Zealand.Applicants must have full Australian working rights Applicants will be required to undergo pre-employment checks prior to appointment to this role.
