Opportunity to work with a dynamic and passionate team Work for an iconic Australian brand Exciting opportunity to drive continuous improvements The Role We are seeking a diligent and highly motivated Quality specialist passionate about Continuous Improvement to join the team at our Smithfield site.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products and driving continuous improvement across the function while upholding our commitment to delivering the best to our consumers.
Our Smithfield site in Western Sydney, manufactures a range of more than 60 fruit juice, fruit drink and water ice products.
The site currently manufactures approximately 110 million litres of finished goods every year including The Juice Brothers, Daily Juice, Mildura and Zooper Dooper.
Responsibilities Collaborate with senior colleagues to identify and evaluate existing policies and business processes within the scope of the Quality and Enviro Management System.
Assist in designing, developing, and documenting new policies, procedures, and business processes.
Lead the internal audit program, including training internal auditors, processing completed audits, performing internal audits, and monitoring progress.
Ensure all relevant Quality & Environment systems are maintained and procedures remain up to date Lead and exemplify Quality & Environment initiatives with an ultimate objective of driving Quality & Environment culture.
About You Minimum of Diploma or equivalent in Food Science or a related field Previous Exposure to HACCP / GMP / BRC/ FSSC 22K /ISO14001 / WSE essential Proficient knowledge in SAPQM & document management system preferred Previous experience, in a quality/risk role in the food industry Attention to detail, demonstrated ability to problem solve, time management and prioritization skills The Bega Group Story The Bega Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
