Excellent culture, dynamic and highly skilled team The Role Bega Group are seeking an experienced Quality Specialist to ensure quality assurance of products, systems and materials and ensure quality is in line with company, customer national and international standards.
The Peanut Company of Australia (PCA) established in 1924, processes and markets high quality peanut products and is Australia's leading supplier of peanuts to domestic and overseas customers.
These peanuts make up Bega's beloved peanut butter varieties that are enjoyed by consumers globally.
This is a fixed-term, 12-month position-relocation package strongly considered.
Responsibilities Provide support to the production departments in ensuring quality systems requirements and critical control points are maintained Support production departments in ensuring critical quality equipment and processes are maintained, operating to standard, and providing troubleshooting support as required.
Provide support to the production departments in investigating food safety and quality incidents and process improvements Analyzing Quality Management Systems (QMS) and processes through internal audits and data analysis, supporting the production departments in understanding and implementing corrective actions as appropriate.
About you Experienced Quality Specialist, able to work unsupervised (1-3 years experience) Previous exposure to HACCP/GMP Solid process knowledge in food safety and quality requirements Preferred exposure to CFMSR/BRC/Safe Food Queensland auditing standards Exposure to SAPQM, LIMS and INTELEX or related products Bega Group Story Bega Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
