The Role Bega Group are seeking an experienced Quality Specialist to ensure quality assurance of products, systems and materials and ensure quality is in line with company or national and international standards.
Our Strathmerton site is located on the Victoria-New South Wales border and is where our various cheese products get sliced, wrapped, and packaged into various forms ready for distribution throughout Australia and export.
This is a full-time standard Mon-Fri position.
Responsibilities Manage the investigation and response to customer and consumer complaints assigned to Site, ensuring that preventative actions nominated are progressed and drive down overall complaint numbers.
Undertake effective data collation, analysis & interpretation (trending) to identify top areas of improvement from Quality systems data (eg.
NCRs, GMP Walk findings, weight program performance, environmental monitoring program) and develop Action Plans to effect improvement.
Ensure change management programs are utilised as required throughout improvement endeavours Oversee Supplier related issues (VCAR) ensuring that communications are robust and address the root cause to prevent reoccurrence Be an involved team member of the Quality Group, support the Quality Specialist Product Integrity and Quality Specialist Systems as required About you Minimum 3 years' experience in relevant industry such as Dairy industry or other High Risk food manufacturing Demonstrated knowledge and experience in food safety and quality assurance management systems, including principles and application of Process Control Demonstrated understanding of Root Cause Analysis Intermediate skills in using Quality Management programs (i.e.
SAP/M3 or IRIS) Ability to mentor and coach others; people development experience Bega Group Story Bega Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
