Role Overview: As the Quality and Safeguarding Lead, you're at the heart of our mission. Your role is to ensure that services not only meet the highest standards of care and compliance but are also delivered in a way that brings smiles to faces.
Key Responsibilities: The Q&S Lead is responsible for assisting the organisation to deliver quality services that are aligned to the NDIS Practice Standards, meet NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission expectations and to drive continuous improvement.
The Q&S lead has systemic responsibility for:
Qualityand Health Management System : review improve and maintain Crosslinks quality systemsincluding, complaints, incidents, behaviour support, restrictivepractices, high intensity support, internal audit schedules and continuousimprovement. Audit Preparation andSupport: Assistin preparing documents for internal andexternal audits, ensuring all materials are accurate and complete. Regulatory Enquiries: Review claims andrespond to NDIS Commission enquiries with timely and accuratecommunication. Organisationalperformance: Measure organisational performance against NDIS PracticeStandards and ensure outcomes are evidenced. Quality and ComplianceReporting: Collect,analyse, and report trends on complaints, incidents,behaviour support, restrictive practices and other measures as required. Requirements: Demonstrated experiencein a similar role requiring conceptual and analytical skills, strategic thinking,problem solving and ability to synthesise complex information, preferablyin a disability setting. Sound knowledge of thelegislative and policy environment for non-government disability serviceproviders and a demonstrable commitment to improving outcomes for peoplewith disability, their families, and carers. Highly structured andorganised, with an ability to prioritise and manage complex issues. Strong negotiation andinfluencing skills, both internally and externally. Close attention todetail and strong verbal and written communication skills. Advanced skill in theapplication of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, MS Office, and theability to efficiently learn new database systems. Lived experience ofdisability and/or a history of working with people with a disability. Bachelor's degree orrelevant tertiary qualifications in disability services or similar.
