Add expected salary to your profile for insightsWe are currently seeking a Quality & Project Systems Partner to support our Managing Director and Project Managers in streamlining operational efficiency and ensuring quality across both business and project-based activities.

Learn more about our work and values at www.iema.com.au.This role is a part-time contract position (20hrs) per week for 12 months, with the potential to lead into a permanent part-time position with IEMA.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESQuality Systems Development:Collaborate with the Managing Director to design, implement, and maintain a robust quality and business systems aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including ISO 9001 certification and readiness.Project-Based Oversight:Partner with Project Managers to integrate quality systems into project workflows, ensuring high standards of delivery and compliance.
Qualifications and Experience with ISO 9001, as well as environmental (ISO 14001) and safety management systems (ISO 45001), will be highly regarded.Policies & Procedures Review:Regularly review and update IEMA's policies and procedures to ensure they remain current, relevant, and aligned with ISO 9001 standards and other industry best practices, particularly in environmental and safety management.Project Close-Out Management:Review current projects in Xero that are nearing completion, and work with Project Managers to conduct thorough close-out reviews, capturing lessons learnt and ensuring all documentation is finalised.Process Optimisation:Create, update, and refine process documentation to support best practices, drive efficiency, and meet compliance requirements across IEMA's projects and services.Data Management:Collect, analyse, and report on data to facilitate informed decision-making across projects and organisational functions.Continuous Improvement:Identify and implement opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness improvements, supporting the team in delivering exceptional outcomes.Audit Preparation & Documentation:Organise and maintain quality documentation and project records to prepare for internal and external audits, including ISO 9001 certification readiness and other relevant compliance standards.Team Training & Support:Provide training and resources to staff on quality and systems procedures, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.Other Responsibilities:Participate in other quality and operational activities as required, contributing to the overall success of IEMA.QualificationsProven experience in quality assurance, systems management, or project support, ideally within a consultancy or professional services environment.Strong qualified knowledge of ISO 9001 and experience integrating quality management systems into project delivery frameworks.
