Key Points: Quality Pharmacist at Slade Health, Woodville, Adelaide SADevelop skills in both Quality and Oncology; build your career in Compounding and Cancer CareIdeal for quality pharmacists wishing to progress their pharmacy career in a new directionPermanent Full-Time Position (2 PM – 10 PM, Monday - Friday plus reasonable overtime, and some weekends – Woodville (Adelaide), SA LocationThe Opportunity: We're currently seeking a permanent full-time Quality Pharmacist to work in our newly opened state-of-the-art compounding facility in Woodville Adelaide.
The work involves preparation and compounding of oncology treatments.
Reporting to the Quality Pharmacist Supervisor, you will work closely with the Operations department, providing quality control support to the compounding centre, with a strong continuous improvement focus.
This is a permanent full-time position working a minimum of 76 hours a fortnight, Monday to Friday plus reasonable overtime and some weekends, work on shifts to support operations that work between the hours of 6:00am and 10:00pm.
Key responsibilities: Releasing all finished products (including oncology, antibiotics, TPN & LAF)Ensure all products are compounded appropriately according to product specifications and documentation to obtain the required quality.Ensure all quality management systems and procedures are adhered toParticipate in preparation of new Quality Documents and revision/update of existing documents.Ensure all product non-conformances are evaluated and rejected and/or escalated to quality management in a timely mannerEnsure all incidents, deviations and complaints are reported appropriately and documented in the QMS in a timely mannerWho we are looking for: A pharmacist with relevant Tertiary qualification in PharmacyCurrent AHPRA registration as Pharmacist in AustraliaHospital or oncology experience is not required as training will be providedTeam orientated attitude, a focus on delivering exceptional service and care to patientsHigh attention to detail and a passion for building on your clinical skills and knowledgeStrong problem solving and decision-making skillsAbility to manage your own workload with good communication skills to effectively liaise with a wide range of health professionalsHospital or oncology experience is not required as training is provided.
