About the Ngaanyatjarra CouncilWelcome to Ngaanyatjarra Lands, a vibrant tapestry of culture and community nestled within the vast beauty of the Australian desert. Home to approximately 2000 Yarnangu (Ngaanyatjarra people) across 11 unique communities, our council is dedicated to preserving and celebrating our rich heritage spanning over 10,000 years and 250,000 square kilometres.
Established in 1981, the Ngaanyatjarra Council Group (NCG) represents the interests of the Ngaanyatjarra People across the 11 communities in the Central Desert region of Western Australia. Employing in excess of 450 people, NCG provides a wide range of services, including health, utilities, construction, employment, community development, shops, roadhouses, art centres, and land services. It is one of the largest and most successful Indigenous organisations in the country.

The Opportunity:We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Officer to join our team and play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining our Safety, Health, Quality, and Environmental (SHQE) Management System. As a Quality Officer, you will work closely with management to ensure that our operations comply with ISO certifications and relevant safety, quality, and environmental standards.
This role will involve assisting in the coordination and documentation of quality audits, both internal and external, while managing and maintaining SHQE system records and compliance. You will help ensure that the company's quality standards are upheld across various projects and that all policies are effectively communicated and implemented throughout the organization.
As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to drive improvements in processes and systems, track actions, manage compliance documentation, and support staff training initiatives. Your contributions will help maintain a high standard of operational excellence, safety, and compliance, making a direct impact on the organization's success.
