About The Role Based at our Longwarry factory, this is an opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager to join our team.
This position is a key member of the Site Leadership Team and is responsible for driving the site quality culture through the development, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the site Quality system.
Responsibilities include: Reporting and Monitoring of Key Quality KPIs to drive Quality and Food Safety Improvements.Oversee the management of all non-compliance issues and ensures correct processes are followed and corrective actions are implemented.Responsible for driving continuous improvement to improve the Quality and Safety of our current and new products and processes.Ensure compliance to the correct Quality & Food Safety procedures.Ensures the Quality Improvement Plans for each site are kept updated and actions are closed out on time.Ensures all Quality and Food Safety Hazards are identified and controlled.Coordinates the GMP improvement program across the site.Ensures the implementation of the Lactalis Quality procedure across the site.Conducts Leadership Quality Audits to monitor quality risk across the site.Review Site Quality Dashboards and help sites understand trends and implement actions where required.Data analysis and monitoring for weekly/monthly reporting.Advising and supporting leadership team on all matters relating to quality.Providing strong guidance to the Production and Technical teams on change management in relation to quality matters.Compliance to external audits and ensure all external and internal audit corrective actions are closed out.About you: 5+ years' experience in a food manufacturing/FMCG quality role.Experience working as a Quality Manager.Appropriate Science/Food Science/Food Processing qualifications.Knowledge/understanding of GFSI, HACCP & Customer standards.Strong communication skills and ability to liaise/influence people at all levels of the business.Excel and SAP knowledge.Strong continuous Improvement Focus.Our story: Ours is a STORY of a family business created by the Besnier Family in 1933 and is today the world's No.
