As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for employing industry best practice test methodologies to drive the resolution of issues.
You will develop monitoring and reporting processes to measure quality and ensure technical teams are focused on resolving the issues that matter.
The Quality Manager acts as the customer's advocate, working to ensure that the Fetch TV products deliver a first-rate customer experience.What you'll be doingLead, provide direction, allocate tasks and priorities for a team of test resourcesPlan test activities to ensure on-time completion of test programsCollaborate with the customer operations and technology leaders to deliver high-quality productsImplement industry best practice test methodologies and processes to identify, prioritise and resolve bugs, issues, and defectsConsolidate bug reports from multiple sources; internal and external clients, staff, and customers.
Provide feedback to people who report issuesTake ownership of technical issues, the debugging process, and corrective actionsTriage and prioritise bugsProvide analytical insights; using Jira, track, monitor and report on the quantity, type, and priority of issuesUnderstand customer requirements and needs; develop functional test cases and effective quality control processes to achieve high test efficacyDevelop and implement non-functional performance, stability, smoke, regression, parametric, and automated unit testingManage field trial and user acceptance testing programsEngage vendors and other industry contacts to stay up to date with advances in test procedures and processesDocument test processes and procedures to ensure repeatabilityAssess current products and processes to identify opportunities for quick quality improvementsEnhance test processes and equipment to improve test efficacyConduct research in the product quality and test domain; exploring and implementing new test methodologies to ensure the highest achievable product reliability, stability, and performanceMentor and coach staff to build team experience, ensure a high execution of duties, and continuous improvement of their skillsUndertake tasks as assigned by the CTOMinimum RequirementsPractical experience in product software testing in the media and technology domainExperience developing a test program and implementing effective quality control processesExperience with media broadcast technology and systemsAbility to drive technology and development teams to resolve issuesStrong management, organisational, and communication skillsInterested?
