Quality Manager

We are Australia's largest privately owned housing maintenance company. Our clients include Public Housing and Community Housing across the country.
Based in North Coogee, Perth and reporting to the Contract Manager this role is a full-time permanent position. Working closely with the WA team to identify and deliver improvements to maintenance service delivery requirements through compliance and quality assurances while managing quality related risks.
Duties and Responsibilities: A systematic approach to quality and continuous improvement; Ensure compliant and efficient outcomes for the business; Implement and maintain sufficient control to ensure quality outcomes in line with work requirements, asset standards and specifications; Develop and implement clear controls to ensure consistent quality performances are met; Quality management in the delivery of maintenance services in line with contractual obligations and relevant legislation; Plan, coordinate and control contractual quality management through effective scheduling of audit activities; Ensure accuracy of monthly Take 5 data; Manage quality defects to ensure quick closure; Investigate work order non-conformances in a timely manner and report back to the client; Proactively manage the risks in the delivery of maintenance contracts; Prepare and submit relevant Quality Reports to the client as required; Contribute to client and business performance reports for results against KPI's where required; Ensure Workplace Health and Safety; Required skills/experience: Formal qualifications in Quality Management; 5+ year experience with Quality Control Experience within either the building or maintenance industries preferred but not essential; Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing Quality systems and continuous improvement; Demonstrated experience in client engagement and management; Demonstrated project management experience; Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office programs; Effective oral and written communication skills; Current driver's license; Ability to pass a National Police check; The right to work within Australia On Offer: Access to Employee Benefits scheme; Supportive and collaborative environment; National organisation and being part the local WA team; Competitive market remuneration on offer.
