Alpha Mine Site Services & Construction (Alpha) specialises in the design and construct of FIFO villages and Non-Process Infrastructure to the Mining & Resources and Oil & Gas sectors.
Alpha is seeking an experienced and dedicated Quality Manager to oversee and take accountability for all quality-related tasks for our Construction Projects. The successful candidate will be based out of our Head Office, with a requirement to travel to site on an as needs basis. This role is heavily focused on maintaining and improving quality standards across our operations, and the ideal candidate must possess extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in quality management.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead, plan, and deliver quality-driven activities within complex environments and agreed timeframes.
Contribute to the development and implementation of best practice quality vision, strategy, policies, and processes to improve operational performance.
Ensure all systems and procedures meet customer requirements and comply with audit standards.
Conduct internal and process audits of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure ongoing compliance.
Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing Operations team, fostering continuous improvement and professional development.
Coordinate and communicate quality documentation, such as safety plans, SOPs, risk registers, and training registers, to relevant personnel.
Champion a 'safety-first' culture by promoting best practices and conducting regular quality improvement sessions.
Oversee health, safety, environment, and compliance-related tasks, ensuring alignment with company strategies and objectives.
Conduct site inductions (where required) for contractors, visitors, and new staff to maintain high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience in a Quality Management role (ideally within the Building & Construction or Mining Industry), with a solid understanding of quality systems, standards, and best practices.
Degree or diploma related to Quality Management (desirable)
Strong leadership and team development skills.
Ability to analyse complex situations, identify solutions, and implement necessary changes.
