Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site-Based Quality Manager to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will oversee quality assurance and control processes, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. This role is critical in maintaining the high-quality standards that the client is known for in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure compliance with the client's standards and regulatory requirements.Quality Control: Oversee and perform regular quality inspections and audits of site operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of quality control professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, non-conformances, and corrective actions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with site management, engineering, production, and HSE teams to ensure quality standards are integrated into all aspects of site operations.Training: Develop and deliver training programs on quality standards and best practices to site personnel.
Qualifications
Education: bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management, preferably in the mining, resources, or heavy industry sectors.
Skills:
Strong stakeholder management skills
Recent quality experience
Leadership experience
