About the company / role : Our client is a family-run food agricultural company supplying fresh produce into major retailers across Australia with over 40,000 hectares across 3 states in Australia.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity and the working hours are standard office hours.
This role has x3 Quality Coordinators reporting directly into them and also manages multiple QA Officers across 2 shifts.
The Quality Manager reports directly to the Head of Quality.
Duties : Managing and coaching quality teams across day and afternoon shifts (including performance reviews, development goals, inductions, training matrixes)Trending quality non-conformances and customer complaints and implementation of corrective actionsReview and maintenance of Standard Operating ProceduresOptimise production and packaging of products in terms of quality deadlinesCompliance with GMP standards and WHS legislationDrive collaboration within teams across multiple shiftsSkills / experience : Tertiary qualification in Food Science or a related disciplinePrevious experience working in a senior level quality role, preferably in the food industryProven ability to lead teams and foster a collaborative working environmentStrong attention to detail and accountabilityExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMindset of operational excellence Continuous improvement, measuring and addressing performance, customer focusedCulture & Benefits : Our client is a family-run business that values a supportive work environment.
