We are a leading manufacturer and supplier, specialising in the precision overhaul and manufacturing of high tolerance equipment and machined components.
We are currently seeking a suitably experienced and motivated Quality Manager to join our team.
The Quality Manager will lead the quality function across the facility and drive all quality initiatives as we grow.
They will be responsible for the facility's Quality Management System (QMS) to meet the relevant Standards and customer requirements as well as for continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct Quality audits both internal/externalManage and control quality records in compliance with AS9100.Track, analyse and report performance against key Quality metricsEstablish strong Customer Relationships with effective and proactive communications, especially when Quality issues and failures arise.Provide staff training with defined processes and adequate resourcing including performance feedback to ensure inspections occur on time and to the required standard.Review all issues captured and raise NCRS, implement Corrective Actions with relevant parties to highlight the issue and resolve.Perform inspections on manufactured parts and completed products to ensure compliance with in-house QMS and customer requirements.Work collaboratively and in conjunction with the company's senior management in the development, implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the company's Quality Management System including procedures, policies, and work methods.Leadership Responsibilities:Drive a quality culture throughout the companyFoster and promote an attitude of continuous improvement by encouraging the use of continuous improvement concepts across the team.Self-manage and effectively prioritise workload.Skills and Attributes:Manager in a previous Quality supervisory or similar role, 2-3 years beneficialExperience in organisational standards.Experience working with AS9100, ISO3834, ISO9001Demonstrated knowledge of quality management principles and techniquesAuditing Skills and/or qualificationsHave excellent written and verbal communication skillsHave the ability and confidence to engage and influence others to ensure adherence and compliance with document control and management requirements in a consultative manner.If you believe you have the necessary qualifications and experience to be successful in this role, please apply now.
