About the roleThis role is a permanent position based at ACT Health Centre, and it will be focusing on the Southern NSW and ACT regions.
The Quality Manager will be responsible for the management and maintenance of the Quality Management System within the health unit.
You'll coordinate data collection, internal audit schedules and manage local quality initiatives at all the health facilities within the health unit.
In this exciting role, you'll oversee the management and investigation of clinical risks and incidents at a regional level.
ResponsibilitiesYou will:
Support development and implementation of a systems approach to health care delivery across health unitBe the local lead agent and point of contact for all issues around health services accreditation and performance against standardsBe the local lead agent and point of contact for the Garrison Health Operations Audit Framework including self-assessments and clinical audit scheduleProvide training and direct assistance in clinical quality improvement methodology for personnel in the health unitAction clinical improvement tasksProvide the required reports to and participate as an active member of the Regional Clinical Governance Working GroupUndertake tasks associated with the resolution of complaints, clinical reviews/investigations and clinical incidentsAbout youTo deliver real outcomes in this role you will be an inherently confident and influential communicator who enjoys working with people of all backgrounds in a complex operating environment.
You'll be capable of taking a system-wide view of models of care across the health unit.
You will also require:
