The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0.
This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.
Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history.
It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.
This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.
Purpose of the Role: Manage Quality Assurance process with relevant subcontractor for the execution of Snowy 2.0 Project.
Qualifications: Tertiary Engineering or Construction Management Qualifications or related disciplines ISO 9001:2015 Internal / Lead Auditor qualification White Card Experience: 15 years' experience in QA or QC position in the construction industry on large scale projects Multicultural, international projects experience are desired. Required Competencies: Knowledge of Aconex, Glaass, EDMS Exceptional problem-solving skills Strong Initiative and proactive nature Key collaborative skills Strong stakeholder management skills across different levels Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Well-developed time management skills High attention to detail Exceptional knowledge and ability in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Promoting continual improvement of the Quality Management System Managing Quality Reporting to all stakeholders Promoting a Risk Based approach to project decisions Assuring the required level of Quality competency across organisational levels and Work Sites Assuring effective and timely Quality Support to all relevant FGJV Depts Assuring Management Quality Reviews are duly organised and facilitated and records kept thereof Assuring analysis of QAQC data and proposing to the QM improvement programs Developing the annual Quality Audit Programme and ensuring its implementation Overviewing project processes mapping in liaison with other FGJV Depts Reviewing other Depts' generated documents (CMS, MAR, RFC, RFI) In collaboration with the Document QA Manager, maintaining effective and streamlined Document management process Ensuring timely development of QMS deliverables such as Procedures, ITPs, Work Instructions, Forms Ensuring QMS Registers (Documents Register, Forms Register, NCR Register, CAR Register, Work Lots Register) are always kept up to date Provide governance over Nonconformities, Corrective Actions planning, follow-up and close out. Execution / facilitation of root cause analysis for Major NC / CAR. Promoting Quality culture diffusion al-across FGJV and its Subcontractors Promoting initiatives aimed at reduction of NCRs to 0 thanks to proactive and preventive approach Ensure design QA capability As an employee you will be eligible to participate in a number of additional employee benefits.
