Job Description The Quality Control position is responsible for ensuring all fabricated and constructed items meet pre-determined project specifications before being released, following Quality Control processes and services.

The role responsibilities include: Understanding and implementing customer QC requirements for each individual project.
Liaising with Project Managers, Supervisors, and Checkers to manage the QA/QC requirements of the project.
Ensuring products meet all governing requirements.
Completing marked-up drawings, registers, spreadsheets, and other required documentation and submitting them in the relevant registers and MDR.
Maintaining an appropriate level of foundation knowledge for Quality Control of goods and services.
Ensuring appropriate inspection of incoming goods and materials.
Planning and resourcing for inspections.
Conducting inspections.
Planning, organizing, and directing the weekly QC inspection schedule.
Monitoring and reporting on ongoing production and performance.
Qualifications Hold a CSWIP 3.1 - Certified Welding Inspector or equivalent.
Proven experience in visual identification of compliant welds to applicable standards and specifications.
Competent in reading and understanding inspection and test plans (ITP's), technical drawings, weld symbols, and fabrication detailing.
Proven successful supervisory or management experience (minimum 3 years).
Experience in a Workshop Fabrication environment.
