The Role ThisQuality Inspector role exists to support the delivery ofthequality assurance systems inline with Luerssen's quality philosophy and service standards forthedesign and construction of six Off-Shore Patrol Vessels. This role will conduct quality assurance and control activities and supporttheimplementation of Quality plans within the SEA1180 Program.
Aspart of continualimprovement this role shall apply lean methodologies and problem-solving techniques to identify opportunities for improvement, lead subsequent initiatives anddeliver tangible results. This role also focuses on improving both operationalandquality performance in a sustainable, long-termmanner across Luerssen Australia's operations.
This rolewill be required to co-ordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure consistency of approach and successful delivery of the SEA1180 Program
Responsibilities Ensure SEA1180 Program products meet qualityrequirements and standards Conduct area specific inspections in accordance with theInspection Test Plan Identify and raise Non-Conformances on products andmanage stakeholder's deliverables to closure. Maintain, monitor, and drive specific area ofresponsibility. Review Subcontractor Quality documentation i.e., OQE,ITP, MDR. Support Production with Quality related issues.
