This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history.
It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.
This iconic project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.Purpose of the Role:Responsible for inspection and acceptance of all the permanent materials, in accordance with relevant Employer's Requirements, FGJV plans and procedures.Qualifications:Tertiary Qualifications or related discipline such as, Degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.White CardExperience:Minimum 3 years' experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role – preferred.Experience working on large scale construction projects or other suitable projects.Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and any EMDS.Good working knowledge of Management System.Good knowledge of statistical techniques, quality tools.Exceptional problem-solving skills.Strong initiative and proactive nature.Strong stakeholder management skills across different levels.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Well-developed time management skills.High attention to detail.Exceptional knowledge and ability in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities:Ensure compliance of all relevant permanent supplies and accompanying documentation.Coordinate with procurement department for the delivery and inspection of all types of permanent supplies.Draft Non-Conformances immediately following their identification.Undertake testing and inspections of permanent supplies in accordance with approved ITPs.Assess Quality Records to ensure compliance and ensure records are updated in the electronic and hard files in a timely and efficient manner.Verify the implementation of corrective and preventive actions proposed in the Non-Conformances.Communicate and resolve any permanent supplies quality issues proactively with relevant procurement representatives and FGJV Material Manager.Any other duties as directed by the Permanent Material Quality Coordinator.Comply with FGJV policies and procedures as amended from time to time.Complete required tasks in a timely manner.The above listed authorities & responsibilities are only a guide and may change as directed by your Manager/Supervisor or as per the requirements of FGJV Management.As an employee, you will be eligible to participate in a number of additional employee benefits.
