If you're passionate about making an impact, PARC Engineering is the place for you!About the Opportunity:In light of our recent expansion and growth, PARC Engineering is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector or Quality Coordinator to join our Local Work: Monday - Friday.Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, your role responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Conduct thorough inspections of structural, mechanical, and piping components to ensure compliance with industry standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.Perform in-process and final inspections to identify defects, deviations, or non-conformances and initiate corrective actions as necessary.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain detailed documentation and records of inspection findings, test results, and quality control measures for reporting and auditing purposes.Participate in supplier evaluations, material inspections, and weld inspections to uphold quality standards throughout the supply chain.To be considered for this role you must have:Proven experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within the SMP sector, preferably in heavy industrial or construction settings.Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and specifications (e.g., ASME, AWS, API, ASTM) pertaining to SMP disciplines.Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.Inspection of Welding qualification CSWIP/Cert 10.Valid Drivers Licence.Construction White/Blue Card, WAH, EWP.The ability to complete a PEM and LabDAS.A bit about Us:PARC Engineering are specialists in Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation projects.
