Reporting to the Senior Quality Engineer, your key duties will include:
What your day to day looks like Conduct visual, physical and testing inspections of incoming products from CPT, OPE, FC and accessories.Utilize measurement tools, testing tools and techniques to assess quality specifications.Document inspection results, test results, and non-conformances according to IQC procedures.Prepare detailed reports on findings and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.Develop new product inspection test plans.Resolving any quality-related issues that arise during inspections and facilitating communication with relevant departments—QA, Engineering, PM, and the Asia teams—while advocating for a final decision on the handling of the shipment.Assist the Quality and Engineering teams with quality issues and non-conformities by identifying root causes and documenting findings.Work closely with local warehousing teams such as inbounds, inventory, storage teams to support IQC operations.Identify opportunities for process improvements and waste reduction in rework activities.Design and implement process improvements, equipment modifications, and layout changes to enhance productivity.Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OH&S) regulations and standards.Qualifications and Experience Required TAFE qualified, or B grade electrician licensed and/or relevant industry experience.Appliance electrical testing license is an advantage but not essential.Product knowledge of power tools, garden tools, and home appliances etc.Strong hands-on skills to be able to pull the product apart, conduct analysis and assemble it back.Comfortable to use basic testing equipment/tools such as multi meter, power meter, etc.Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.Computer literacy, good Excel skills is an advantage.Ability to demonstrate initiative.Solid time management and attention to detail.Ability to be a team player, as well as work autonomously.
