Position Summary: The position is for a Performance Engineer who can work in a challenging Retail environment (Business to Business, Business to Customer) to develop, debug and debug software changes with the POS at its core. This role requires at least 8 years hands-on experience in Automation Engineering using Open-Source Technologies. Should have at least 6 years' experience with cloud solutions like AZURE DevOps / AWS. Experience with Service Virtualization tools, performance scripts for Web based application using Load Runner and JMeter are also required. In this role, the candidate would be responsible to understand & develop reliable Automation strategies that fit into clients' existing technology ecosystems. Mandatory Skills: Expertise in understanding client requirements and propose solutions which eventually leads to a greater customer service. To be able to answer customer questions or provide accurate information after having the full understanding of the product. To be able to understand the intricacies of the system at fine level, which eventually helps to identify a solution for problems and dependencies on other systems in case of multi-interface domain. At least 8 years of experience on the Non-functional testing tools i.e. Microfocus LoadRunner, Apache JMeter, Neo load with strong scripting knowledge of .NET and JAVA based protocols. Strong knowledge of Splunk to prepare the dashboards. Very good knowledge of the SQL performance tuning and optimization for Oracle and MS SQL server databases. Writing, updating and maintaining technical program, end user documentation and operational procedures. Strong development skills and experience to create tools and emulators to meet the POS and self-checkout virtualization requirements. Sound Knowledge of Networking and VMware tools and experience in troubleshooting issues. To be able to performance scripts for Web based application using Load Runner and JMeter. Hands on experience on setting up Servers, Access Points, PIN pads, Printers, Scanners, RF mobile devices, Department Ticketing Scales, and other environment setup for testing. Roles and Responsibilities: Define and lead the implementation of strategy, plans & execution. Evaluate new technology needs from a continuous automation perspective. Design, build, deploy and debug effective solutions which reduce overall time to market. Technical Design and Development of Code. Establish and evolve formal quality engineering practices, process, methodologies, standards and hygiene for agile development efforts. Will be responsible for defining processes and practices in POS, Self-checkout applications. Enabling teams while helping in debugging and fixing errors in code. Maintaining solution architecture to meet system requirements.
