THE ROLE
Reports to the Accountable Manager.
To oversee the Compliance monitoring, QMS, and Safety Management systems to ensure regulatory compliance.
Maintain an effective working relationship with the Regulatory Authority.
Manage aviation regulatory oversight audits by UK CAA & EASA.
Develop a close relationship with responsible managers within the Part 145 to promote Quality & Safety systems.
To oversee the management of the following:
Internal Part 145 process & product audits
Non-Conformances
Management of the company Capability List
Management of the Approved Suppliers / Subcontractors Lists
Management of continuation & compliance training records to ensure continued approval
Provide regular feedback via reports to senior management regarding quality and production metrics.
Ensure Production compliance to regulatory requirements.
Maintain and update the company QMS and regulatory documentation as part of continuous improvement and compliance to regulations.
Manage disposal of scrap.
EXPERIENCE
Must have held a position within an organisation working to Part 145 & ISO9001 / AS9100 regulations.
Experience in carrying out internal and external audits.
Must have experience working with and updating QMS documentation.
Knowledge and use of MS Excel, MS Word, etc.
Knowledge of how to use ERP software (CAFAM).
Able to produce quality metrics.
Educated to HNC engineering.
Internal auditor trained.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
