Responsibilities: Work alongside other quality engineers to ensure that the manufacturing areas are fully compliant with ISO 9001/ IATF16949 standards and CSRs by ensuring that linkages are maintained between process flow / FMEA/ Control Plan / Works instruction / records etc.Lead investigations and analyze in-house and customer concerns through the 8D problem-solving process to ensure identification of root cause(s) and implementation of robust corrective and preventative actions.Utilize data analysis and monitor to support problem-solving processes.Ensure that all new processes are verified in accordance with the ISO/ IATF and Customer requirements.Support and coach Atlas Copco personnel in quality-related issues through interfacing with other departments.Liaise with other Customers/ CCs/ other Quality members as required to support customer concern investigations and manufacturing quality issues within the plant.Conduct internal quality audits, generate audit reports, and ensure timely closure of non-conformances or OFI's.Conduct capability studies on manufacturing processes, in conjunction with manufacturing engineering.Analyze all required data to verify and validate any proposed manufacturing changes and regularly report the progress of projects to Quality Management.Utilize the data analyzed to provide feedback and steer the internal project if changes are required.Report and act upon quality department metrics.Assist with the administration of QMS.Assist supplier development by conducting site audits.Other Duties: Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the company.Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 1 year in an automotive quality engineering / quality role - essential.Degree/HND in an engineering discipline - desirable.Full understanding of IATF16949, ISO9001, and customer-specific requirements - essential.Internal Auditor Trained to IATF16949/ISO9001 - desirable.Working knowledge of APQP process - desirable.Experience with bulk materials will be an added advantage.Experience with quality software will be an added advantage.Company Benefits: Great Company pension.Health Cash plan.Private medical care.Free parking.Cycle to work scheme.Stimulating and challenging working environment.Generous study programme.Company: Atlas Copco IAS UK Ltd at Deeside develops, designs, and manufactures self-pierce riveting systems and fasteners predominantly for the automotive sector.
