Quality Engineer

Our client is looking to recruit a Quality Engineer on a contract basis.Job Opportunity: Quality Engineer (Nuclear Experience) - DevonportLocation: Devonport, UKContract Type: Long-term contract – Inside IR35Work Arrangement: Hybrid (1-2 days remote, ideally Friday)(Additional expenses per day for travel/hotel)Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer with experience in the nuclear sector to join our team in Devonport.
This role primarily involves the review and approval of Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and Life Time Quality Records (LTQR).
The successful candidate will work closely with the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR), ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.Key Responsibilities:Review and approve ITPs and LTQRs, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.Collaborate with the ONR to maintain and enhance quality compliance.Provide expert guidance on quality processes related to nuclear projects.Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and meets regulatory requirements.Requirements:Proven experience in a Quality Engineer role within the nuclear industry.Strong understanding of ONR regulations and requirements.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Benefits:Competitive rate with additional daily allowance for travel and accommodation.Long-term contract offering stability and the opportunity to work on high-profile projects.Hybrid working model with flexibility to work from home 1-2 days per week.Company Information:At First Recruitment Group, we understand just how important it is to secure the right people.
