About the role The Mental Health and Wellbeing Directorate is seeking a suitably qualified Quality Coordinator to join the team.
This is a permanent, part-time position (64 hours per fortnight).
The Quality Coordinator role is part of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Services Leadership Team.
The position will play a vital role in maintaining accreditation standards, conducting audits, managing incidents and feedback, and preparing committee reports.
This will be done in collaboration with relevant managers, staff of SWH, and report to the Executive Director Mental Health and Wellbeing Services.
Key accountabilities include (but are not limited to): Daily monitoring of incidents and feedback.Collecting, analysing, and reporting data relevant to quality improvement and risk management.Provide leadership in patient safety principles and accreditation requirements through delegated committees within SWH.Position overview Part-time (64 hours per fortnight), On-going positionWarrnambool CampusRemuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.This position is eligible for an incentive payment for rent, childcare, relocation costs and more, as part of the new workforce and incentive grants program administered by Rural Agency Workforce Victoria (RWAV) up to $10,000.

As the Mental Health Quality Coordinator, you will ensure the Mental Health leadership team has access to current and relevant information relating to Quality Management, Governance, and quality improvement activities within the Mental Health Services Directorate.
Key Requirements: Appropriate tertiary qualifications with AHPRA registration (where required) and/or registration with a relevant board or association:Nursing:
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse with relevant postgraduate qualifications in mental health; andAt least 5 years' experience in the provision of mental health services.Allied Health:
Occupational Therapy: Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA, orPsychology: Registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist, orSocial Work: Degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).At least 7 years' experience in the provision of mental health services.Desirable: Postgraduate studies in health management or quality management.What we offer You will enjoy benefits such as:
