Nursing - Aged Care (Healthcare & Medical)Competitive remuneration + salary packagingMake a difference in a NFP that supports military veterans and their familiesCompetitive remuneration with generous salary packaging benefits (up to $18,500 tax free)Located in our Bundoora homeAbout usVasey RSL Care is a not-for-profit provider of high quality home and residential aged care services, and affordable accommodation to support the ex-service community and older Australians.About the roleThe Quality Coordinator coordinates the continuous improvement processes of the VRSLC Quality and Risk Management System under the direction of the Clinical Quality Manager.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Contribute to the identification, implementation and evaluation of continuous improvement using the organisation's digital continuous improvement program (Moving on Audits - MOA) tools, including quality and safety audits and surveys.Support managers and others to document, action, evaluate and gather evidence of continuous improvement using MOA tools.Coordinate administration of residents/clients/consumers, representatives and employee feedback.As directed by the Clinical Quality Manager and/or GMQR, action feedback, which may include investigation of feedback and complaints related to meals, laundry or service environment.Assist with risk management by collecting data, observing practice and the environment, escalating issues of risk or potential non-compliance with Quality Standards to the Clinical Quality Manager and/or GMQR.Participate in Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission performance assessment and quality review processes, assisting with self-assessment, providing evidence and documentation and attending interviews with assessor/s.Coordinate Quality forum meetings and develop agendas, providing reports and documents and publishing and distributing the minutes in consultation with the Clinical Quality Manager and/or GMQR.About youTo be successful in this position, you will need to be highly organised, willing to learn new things and be enthusiastic and supportive as aged care continues on its transformation journey.You will have:AHPRA registration as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse.Knowledge of aged care and experience working in aged care residential and/or home care settings e.g. as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse.Knowledge and understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards.Ability to appropriately manage sensitive information.Proven effective and kind communication, and interpersonal skills with a customer service approach.Previous experience and ability to utilise an electronic documentation system and undertake documentation.Strong computer literacy including ability to manage databases and spreadsheets.Benefits for youBe part of a culture that is welcoming, engaging and supportive.Generous and industry competitive salary and conditions of employment.Flexible work hours for work-life balance.Industry leading training and education to help you upskill.Access to Wellbeing Program.Formal employee reward and recognition program.Employee Referral Program incentives.If you believe in making a difference, we would love to hear from you, please click below.
