About the role The Quality Coordinator coordinates the continuous improvement processes of the VRSLC Quality and Risk Management System under the direction of the Clinical Quality Manager.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Contribute to the identification, implementation and evaluation of continuous improvement using the organisation's digital continuous improvement program (Moving on Audits - MOA) tools, including quality and safety audits and surveys.Support managers and others to document, action, evaluate and gather evidence of continuous improvement using MOA tools.Coordinate administration of residents/clients/consumers, representatives and employee feedback.As directed by the Clinical Quality Manager and/or GMQR, action feedback, which may include investigation of feedback and complaints related to meals, laundry or service environment.Assist with risk management by collecting data, observing practice and the environment, escalating issues of risk or potential non-compliance with Quality Standards to the Clinical Quality Manager and/or GMQR.Participate in Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission performance assessment and quality review processes, assisting with self-assessment, providing evidence and documentation and attending interviews with assessor/s.Coordinate Quality forum meetings and develop agendas, providing reports and documents and publishing and distributing the minutes in consultation with the Clinical Quality Manager and/or GMQR.About you To be successful in this position, you will need to be highly organised, willing to learn new things and be enthusiastic and supportive as aged care continues on its transformation journey.
You will have:
AHPRA registration as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse.Knowledge of aged care and experience working in aged care residential and/or home care settings e.g.
