Within Western Australia our Mining & Resources Division delivers engineering and construction projects for our key Tier 1 iron ore producing clients, which enables them to sustain and expand their mining operations throughout the Pilbara Region of Western Australia. As a trusted partner to the WA resource sector, Calibre is integrated in our Client's Major Projects which enables up to go above and beyond and succeed together with our clients.
The Role: This role will take responsibility for providing both Technical Writing and Quality Assurance support, to one of our major iron ore projects. We're looking for someone with a strong background in technical writing within the mining & resource industry, as well as some experience and/or qualifications in Quality/Auditing. Your day to day;
Preparing management plans, procedures, scope of works, maintenance guides, quick reference guides, manuals, engineering specifications, forms, templates and other project related documentationDetermining content specifications, key messages and document structure to best convey clear and concise information to the target audienceManaging the preparation, collation, quality, format, presentation, production and submission of written information from external stakeholders and consultants;Develop training material for Calibre produced scope, coordinate Vendor training package development, including alignment with Client requirements and coordination of training delivery as neededReview the QA requirements for the tender packages and assist in evaluating tender documentation with the defined criteriaLiaisonwithinternal project team member toensureaudits&corrective actionsareimplemented and closed outThrive with us!
