The Opportunity We are in an exciting growth phase in our business, with a renewed focus on building and investing behind Australia's favourite chilled juice brands. As a result, we are seeking an experienced Quality Coordinator to join our close-knit, dynamic team at our Leeton site for a 12-month maternity leave role. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting and supervising others in the quality assurance of products, systems or materials to make sure there are no defects, and ensure quality is in line with company or national and international standards. The role may also be involved in investigating and setting standards for quality, health and safety, and analysing the effectiveness of processes and quality management systems. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the identification and evaluation of current policies and business processes that are in the scope of the Quality Management System. Follow Grove's Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) policies, procedures and mandatory instructions; to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the wellbeing of oneself and others in the workplace. Develop knowledge and understanding of the organisation's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure team's work adheres to those standards. Explain the local action plan to support team members in their understanding of what needs to be done, and how this relates to the broader business plan and the organisation's strategy; motivate people to achieve local business goals. Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems and procedures, and use established change management programs to address them. Identify instances of non-compliance with the organisation's policies and procedures and/or relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, reporting these and escalating issues as appropriate. Provide technical guidance when required on planning, organising, prioritising and overseeing activities to efficiently meet business objectives. Provide technical guidance when required on developing, monitoring, interpreting and understanding policies and procedures, while making sure they match organisational strategies and objectives. Provide technical guidance when required on achieving full compliance with applicable rules and regulations in management and/or operations. Use clear and effective verbal communications skills and provide technical guidance when required on expressing ideas, requesting actions and formulating plans or policies. Manage and apply safe systems of work and provide technical guidance when required. Holds self and others accountable to meet commitments. Provides direction, delegating, and removing obstacles to get work done. Develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences. Gains the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity. Steps up to address difficult issues, saying what needs to be said. Experience in leading and developing high performing teams with a coaching mindset. Experience in food and beverage manufacturing or similar industry will be highly regarded. Post-Secondary Non-Tertiary Education, but bachelor's degree or Equivalent Level will be considered favourably.
