Quality Control Scientist

Job Description We are looking for a Junior Quality Control Scientist , who will be involved in conducting microbiological testing, contamination assessments, and physical examinations of bottled and plated products. This person will be reporting directly to a Team Leader or Quality Manager. This is a confirmed 3 month project

and contract likely to be extended. Our client is a world-leading biotechnology company and the site is located in East Scotland. Key Responsibilities: Conduct microbiological testing in compliance with ISO 17025 and ISO 13485/9001 Quality Management Systems and Quality Policies. Report any non-conforming results to the QC Team Leader or Quality Manager. Adhere strictly to established laboratory procedures when performing tests, ensuring compliance with UKAS and other regulatory standards. Accurately sample, test, and report on the quality control of plated and bottled samples submitted to the laboratory, ensuring timely and precise results.

Qualifications: BSc in Microbiology or a related field.

Experience: Experience working in a laboratory setting.
