Quality Control Officer - Morning Shift

An Australian owned ASX listed food and beverage manufacturer located in Melbourne's Northern suburbs is looking to welcome a QC/QA officer on their morning shift.

Duties

Quality Control Officer:

Reporting To The Quality Manager Your Responsibilities Include

Perform food safety and standardization audits on food productsReview and monitor all set quality control programs and quality control test resultsOrganize daily tests on productsReview and update quality control reports on a weekly basisPerform inspections of materials to ensure safetyEvaluate product in accordance with customer feedbackAssist in the maintenance of the support programs for HACCP, like Internal Audit Program, Pest Control, Calibration etc.

Skills/Experience as a minimum for the above role:

Experience working in a QC role and/or recently graduated in Food Science or similar degreeGood understanding of HACCP and GMPProfessional verbal and written communication skillsFull working rights to work a minimum of 38 hours a week ongoing

This position is looking to start ASAP. Competitive hourly rate and training provided. This is Monday to Friday position with the possibility of permanency down the track.
