What you'll do
We have an exciting opportunity for someone with a real passion for fresh produce to join our Produce team. This role is positioned in our Quality Control team and is responsible for monitoring and checking produce lines delivered to the DC for compliance with product quality specifications
Ensure products received into the distribution centre checked and assessed for qualityBe happy working within a 2, 7 & 13 degree warehouse environmentComplete ongoing maintenance of the implemented quality systemsReport to the Senior Quality Control Officer on applications of monitoring and assessments against product specifications
What you'll bring Ideally have produce or fresh food experience, with an understanding of store operationsProven ability in testing and evaluating products for safety and fit for purposeStrong written and verbal communication skills, sound computer knowledge, intermediate experience using google sheets, docs, slides etc, self-motivated with a high level of accuracy, and an eye for detailAn ability to conduct presentations to stores and be comfortable in liaising with and advising to a number of stakeholders
