Permanent full time role
Wodonga Distribution Centre - Barnawartha North, VIC
Shift Pattern: 3.30am to 12pm with weekend work required

What you'll do

Monitor and assess Fruit & Veg lines delivered to the distribution centre (DC)
Be happy working within a 2, 7 & 13 degree warehouse environment
Lifting and moving boxes of produce, must be physically fit
Report to the Senior Quality Control Officer on applications of monitoring and assessments against product specifications
Validate the compliance with product quality and labelling specifications set by the Woolworths quality assurance team & government legislation
Collaborate with the Commercial Buying Team to ensure we are delivering the best quality offer for store operations to enhance customer experience
Deliver safe, quality products in line with Woolworth's specifications and company KPI's

What you'll bring

Driven by a customer mission, passion for food & about being part of a supportive team
Previous experience in a similar role working in a highly regulated environment is highly desirable
High attention to detail and are able to follow processes.
Farming / Retail fruit & veg / Agronomy and/or Agriculture / Hospitality (Food) / Quality Assurance experience
Understanding of supermarket retailing and commercial processes
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong Computer skills in MS or Google Suites
There is some physical work so you need to be able to lift and move boxes.
