Quality Control Officer

We are seeking a QC Officer to provide support in the maintenance of our quality systems and contribute to the overall quality control of the business.

We encourage Machine Operators in food manufacturing and seeking to take the next step in a career in the Quality field.

YOUR SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
To be a complimentary fit for this role you will have:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Well versed in excel and database management skills Proven organisational skills with ability to prioritise Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines A qualification in Food Science (or equivalent) or manufacturing experience will be highly regarded.
A positive team player, willingness to learn and be reliable.
YOUR ROLE
Tasting and approval/rejection of finished flavours Perform lab analysis of raw materials, in process sample, stability sample and finished products Investigate out of specification results Complete product specification and production documents to ensure compliance to food legislation, Australian Standards and customer requirements Assist in the management of customer complaints or customers' request for information Maintain, monitor and review food safety/quality programs; including calibration, verification and testing.
Assist the quality team in Certification audits and compliance audits Perform investigations and Root Cause Analysis Maintain the lab in a clean and organised manner.
