In this exciting opportunity, you will work within our Process Serving team who provides service of Legal Documents Australia Wide. You will work closely with the field agents to arrange service of the documents and ensure adherence to client and legal requirements.
Collaborating closely with your circle leader, you'll strive to meet quality assurance targets and achieve performance goals, with ample opportunities for growth within this role through team meetings, one-on-one coaching and skill development sessions.
Previous legal secretarial/administration experience is highly favourable. Proficiency with computers is a must. If you enjoy administrative challenges, and possess strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with a diverse range of individuals, from seasoned field professionals to legal experts, this role is tailored for you.
Key Details Commencing January 2025Location: 485 La Trobe Street Melbourne CBDMonday to Friday: 8:30am to 5pm | No weekends!Successful applicants will be required to complete a National Police CheckOnsite RoleKey Responsibilities Reviewing final file notes to ensure a high level quality of service provided to the client throughout and providing feedback to peers on any errors madeChecking affidavits of service and affidavits of attempt executed by process servers, ensuring compliance with legislation and client requirementsDrafting detailed affidavits in relation to investigations undertaken by enquiry agentsDrafting detailed affidavits in support of substituted service applicationsRunning a daily report on the file management system following up field agents pending mattersCommunicating with field agents, clients and other internal and external stakeholdersUploading new Process Serving matters into the system, drafting affidavit templates and issuing to field agentsLiaise with clients to ensure satisfaction on all filesHandle inbound and outbound calls and emails from field agents and clientsData entry is performed with high accuracyAdhere to clients service level agreements and turnaround timesAttend and actively participate in all team meetings, scheduled one on ones and coaching sessionsEnsure a safe, healthy and sustainable workplace for all employees and contractors, report workplace hazards, and provide a safe and positive workplace.Complete all necessary training requirements and professional development opportunities.To be successful in this role, you will be: Self-motivated, reliable and have a positive "Can Do" attitude;Have superior attention to detail;Be very organised with excellent time management skills; andPrevious legal secretarial/administration experience is highly favourableCulture & Benefits: Fantastic working environment that celebrates diversity, ensuring you feel valued, supported and empowered daily.Unlimited access to a trusted mental health and well-being platform, giving you peace of mind and helping you thrive.Opportunities for career progression with a company that invests in your professional growth and development.Our promise to you.
