Quality Assurance & Control (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
As a Quality Control Executive at UPAC MANUFACTURING SDN. BHD., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of the company's manufacturing processes and products. Based in Mount Austin Johor, this full-time position is responsible for implementing and maintaining robust quality control systems to meet industry standards.
What you'll be doing:
Conducting regular inspection and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress, and final products to identify and address any quality issues. Developing and documenting quality control procedures and processes to maintain product quality. Analysing quality data and generating reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Collaborating with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions. Ensuring compliance with relevant quality standards, regulations, and internal policies. Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality control best practices. Continuously looking for ways to optimise quality control processes and enhance efficiency. Maintaining ISO 9001:2015. Ad hoc duties as per instructed by management team. What we're looking for:
A bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret quality data and implement corrective actions. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and ISO standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying and resolving quality issues. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. What we offer:
