About the opportunity
The Quality Control Chemistry Analyst will be responsible for raw materials acceptance testing based in the warehouse.

Duties Raw material acceptance testingDaily site meetingsPerforming visual examination of incoming goods and raw materialsChecking integrity of boxesPerforming a certificate of analysis check on raw materials against reference on quality systemPerforming some sampling of chemicalsDelivering samples to the laboratory for testingKeeping up with trainingEnsuring office and area is of a high standard, filing up to dateNeed to be able to lift 10kg but there are mechanical aids for lifting heavy itemsNo lab testing; the role is in the main store Skills and Experience Must have 2 years experience in a similar roleScience Degree not mandatory but favorableSome knowledge of regulated or pharmaceutical industryNeed to have GMP, GLP and GDP knowledgeSome basic computer skills as there is some data entry of resultsExcellent attention to detailCompletion of work to high standardSafety a priority/safety awareness Culture
