About the opportunity
The Quality Control Analyst will be assisting in the testing for Q-Fever Vaccine, Antivenoms and Other Non-Influenza Vaccine Products (Non-IVV).
Duties Assist in the development, preparation and training of QC staff in approved procedures as requiredAssist with investigation of Out-of-Specification (OOS) test results, invalid assaysEnsure the functional area is audit-ready at all timesSupport the operational area pro-actively to prevent invalid assaysActively seek and recommend improvements to enhance quality within each functional areaParticipates in process improvement activities/teamsAssists in the maintenance and upkeep of quality records and documentsTesting day to day – requires pipetting skillsStock take and calibration of pipettesWorking with the team closelyPerform assays in tandem with the team Skills and Experience Must have a Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry, chemistry or microbiology)Ideally, have between 1-2 years of experience in a similar rolePipetting skills - Single and multi-channelA pharmaceutical background would be an advantageAble to work well with the teamFamiliarity with laboratory
