About the opportunityReporting to the CEO, the Compliance / Quality Manager will be responsible for the quality system and compliance requirements across the organisation.
This will include oversight of the Quality Management System, maintenance of the RTO and NDIS accreditation, community aged care quality and compliance, and developing quality and operational capability across the organisation.Ideally the role will be located permanently in Hervey Bay but the Sunshine Coast or a home base will also be considered, provided the successful candidate is prepared to travel to Hervey Bay at least twice a month for executive meetings and during audits.
Duties will include:Ensuring quality procedures and systems are adhered to and compliance is maintained across the organisationIdentify opportunities for efficiencies in processes, procedures or systemsDevelop and maintain policies and procedures for internal audits in RTO and NDIS complianceAssist external auditors in ensuring evidence is collated in an efficient mannerDevelop and implement a compliance calendar and scheduleMonitoring legislative changes, reviewing and updating policies, procedures and processes accordinglyDevelop staff training and deliver advice on compliance and quality activities and proceduresImplement and maintain a business Risk Register and a Continuous Improvement Register to illustrate where areas of concern are being addressedThe successful candidate will have:Experience in a similar Compliance Manager role, with either RTO compliance responsibility or NDIS compliance responsibilityIdeally have a comprehensive understanding of ASQA's functions, the VET Quality Framework and a working knowledge of relevant training packagesIdeally have a good understanding of NDIS practice standards and guidelinesBe strategic and solutions focused in your thinking and able to prioritise and achieve performance goals in a results-oriented environmentPossess relevant experience in developing and validating accredited course material including training resources and assessment toolsHave highly developed oral and written communication, negotiation and interpersonal skillsAbility to obtain a Working with Children Card, Yellow Card / National Worker Screening, and a Police CheckMust have a valid Driver's Licence.Applications:To apply for this position, please forward your resume through the "Apply" button.
